ROLE PROFILE:
Responsible for tracking each vehicle at regular intervals as it moves from origin to its destination along
the suggested route. Coordinate with the truck driver, the team and transport authorities to update real time information on the system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;1. Send reports to the Operations team for trucks allocation2. Daily reporting on the status of trucks to Finance, Stores and Operations team3. Prepare a Truck movement report every morning and evening to show status of trucks (e.g empty)
4. Coordinates with tracking company for repair and maintanance of the devices5. Sends current status report of trucks to all clients received from Operations department.6. Report on turn around time of trucks to know loss time and Financing7. Monitoring of vehicles for over speeding, harsh brakes, accidents etc8. Should be conversant with fleet details.9. Updating truck status while on the way.10. Providing clarity trucks information and at the right time.11. Updates the operations and workshop team on the status of breakdown status.12. Keep updates with the GPS systems installed.13. Updates on Customer reports on daily basis.14. Send tracking update reports 2 times per day.15. Follow up with workshop team for maintenance status of breakdown trucks.16. Any other jobs assigned from time to time.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:It requires the individual to work well with his/her team and achieve joint goals. Must be able toprioritize and execute tasks within scheduled time limits. The individual should be able to maintain highconcentration levels throughout his/her shift.
