Requirements:Technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in manufacturing industries.Proven experience in operating and maintaining production machinery in the food industry is a MUST.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.Understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the facility.Job Purpose: The Technical Operator-Mechanics is responsible for the efficient operation and mechanical maintenance of machinery in the food production line. This role involves hands-on experience in both operating and maintaining mechanical equipment, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance, minimizing downtime, and meeting production targets.Responsibilities:Machine Operation:
Operate and monitor machinery in the potato Crisps production line.
Actively participate in the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards.
Conduct regular quality checks during production.
Mechanical Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks on production machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Adjust machinery settings to achieve optimal production efficiency.
Quality Control:
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure product quality meets company standards.
Assisting in maintaining product quality standards during production.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Participate in safety training and ensure a safe working environment.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to the coordinator.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance activities.
Document any changes or adjustments made to machinery settings.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with production team members.
Collaborate with colleagues to optimize production processes.
Continuous Improvement:
