Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience.• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant is an added advantage.Experience• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience from a major company or division of a large corporation. • Transport &Logistics background is a must.• Highly organized.• Excellent spoken & written English and/or Swahili.• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.• Proficient with computers including word, excel and Power Point.• Confident & able to work independently as required.• Committed, enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude.• Flexible and can-do attitude.Roles and Responsibilities
Handling all petty cash and payment vouchers
Receiving Cash and Preparing tax invoice / issuing TRA receipts
Daily reconciliation of total payments received with total sales
Responsible for compiling, maintain and sending daily and monthly cash flow, sales and banking reports and records.
Perform any other duties assigned by your line manager from time to time
Maintaining Cash Flow summary
Doing fund requests
Closing accounts for customers for cleared containers and sending invoices for payment
Maintain Debtors schedules (maintaining summary of invoices and payments for each customer)
Preparing a summary of Profit and Loss
Keep clearing records and maintain proper filling system
Adherence to all financial and administrative controls and compliance of your department
Posting payments vouchers and petty cash into SAP (ICD)
You will work to support or cover for Billing and Receivables Officer (Back-up for Billing and Receivables officer)
