QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a restaurant or customer-facing role is preferred but not required
Knowledge of Swahili or familiarity with Tanzanian culture is a plus
A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive.
Manage reservations and walk-ins using a seating system or reservation software.
Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
Handle guest inquiries about the menu, restaurant, or special events with professionalism.
Coordinate with the serving staff to optimize table turnover and ensure smooth operations.
Uphold the restaurant's standards for customer service and hospitality.
Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
