Qualification• Competency with operating and using standard industry applications such as; MS Office; Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Adobe, Visio, Assure, OMIE, Aconex, SharePoint• Proven leader of a HSSE team on major oil and gas projects.• Demonstrated knowledge of safety compliance, risk controls and site HSE hierarchy• Demonstrate proficiency in the interpretation of HSE, plans, policies and regulations.• Demonstrated knowledge and HSSE Risk management and implementation• Excellent planning and organizational skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.• Staff management experience (knowledge of mentoring and motivation techniques)• Autonomous, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities.Responsibilities• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of HSE study is preferred, with 7~10 years’ experience in aHSE related field, NEBOSH Diploma or Company agreed on discipline qualifications• Chartered Member of appropriate Professional Body / Institution preferred (IOSH)• 10 years working in developing countries – specifically in the HSE space.• 8 years of related HSE experience and the appropriate safety certifications in regulatory, riskmanagement and training programs within the oil and gas industries.• Setting up and deploying HSSE systems in major projects start up and execution.• Experience of process and system auditing in the Oil and Gas or other heavy industry.• Developing local talent in an ‘On the Job Training’ capacity• Demonstrated proficiency with the application of HSE Management Systems aligned to ISO 45001,safety culture, and loss prevention practices related to IFC lender Projects• Ability to use action tracking applications/databases.• HSSE Policy and System development and deployment• Accident and incident management as well as root cause analysis• Experience in analysing HSE project metrics to report accurate KPI’s & potential non-compliance trends
