Key Responsibilities
Monitor fuel inventory levels, stock, and deliveries to avoid shortages and maintain optimal stock.
Ensure fuel dispensing equipment and other facilities are maintained and in excellent working order.
Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations across all assigned stations.
Prepare and submit regular reports on station performance, including financials, inventory, and customer feedback.
Ensure all stations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Enforce safe handling of petroleum products, ensuring all staff follow safety protocols.
Work with government and regulatory bodies for compliance, licensing, and certifications.
Prepare and manage the budget for each station.
Ensure that cash handling procedures are adhered to and that revenue targets are met or exceeded
Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear objectives.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze and interpret financial data to guide decision-making and improve profitability.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in retail or petroleum station management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to petroleum products.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Proficiency with inventory management and reporting tools.
