Requirements and skills• Degree in Business Administration and Management, or a related field• Proven work experience of 3 years as Operations Manager or similar role • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management • Experience budgeting and forecasting• Familiarity with business and financial principles• Excellent communication skills• Leadership ability• Outstanding organizational skillsResponsibilities• Ensure that the office is managed effectively and efficiently through timely provision of services and supplies maintenance records.• Coordinate the development and implementation of efficient record keeping schemes such as electronic filing systems.• Maintain a safe and secure working environment.• Coordinate the sourcing of supplies and services by also ensuring thatvalue for money is attained.• Manage contracts with all key suppliers and vendors.• Supervise and resolve all administration escalated issues.• Develop and monitor the annual, semi-annual, quarterly, andmonthly budgets ensuring financial transactions are in accordancewith the organization’s financial rules and procedures.• Review all periodical reports for accuracy and completeness.• Review supporting documents.• Work closely with the finance and accounting department on allrelevant matters such as statutory obligations, internal controls, reporting, audits, and compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).• Ensure strong employee relations by managing employee discipline, complaints and grievances coordinating with the HRM.• Support in client services and retention.• Liaison with the HRM in coordinating efficient service deliverymeasures to clients.• Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.• Researching, planning, and implementing new target marketinitiatives.• Researching prospective accounts in target markets.• Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
