QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEducation: MSc or Bachelor (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized Engineering discipline Professional Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil &Gas Industry with similar large scale projects & onshore. Experience within project: Professional training in rotating machinery related design, fabrication, testing, commissioning, etc. Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent knowledge of engineering practices, international codes and standards. Expertise in rotating machinery related installation methods and techniques. Good understanding of contractual relationships in EPC / Construction projects. Languages: English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing).Who Can Apply: Expats only DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To support pipeline, AGI (Above Ground Installations) and marine terminal package managers and procurement management on mechanical rotating machinery matters during the call For tender phase to ensure a clear definition of the technical scope of work and interfaces between contracts, reviewing bidders proposed execution plan and schedule. Supervision and approval of mechanical rotating machinery related detailed design activities and deliverables by EPcm and vendors. Supporting engineering manager in advising on and supporting qualification activities, linked to the use of new or non-standard / common technology. Audit and vetting of equipment and service providers for the mechanical rotating machinery related procurement and construction Coordinate mechanical rotating machinery expertise and actions with EPcm contractor counterparts, and within the company's technical team with other Disciplines. Reporting to the technical project manager on compliance to technical standards, design, supply / manufacturing and construction issues, risks to schedule and budget, etc. To identify and propose mitigation of project risks To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard H3SE and H3SE rules implementation To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard to Ethics and project “code of conduct” policy To participate to meetings with partners, authorities and other stakeholders as required. To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be required by the position.
