Description
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor Degree holder and/or Diploma in Materials Management/Logistics Management.
5 years Fleet management experience.
Use of Tally/Syspro or equivalent inventory software for 1year.
Sound understanding of Plastic market and other national regulations related to plastics.
Experience in Manufacturing industry is required.
Handling warehouse documentation.
Responsibilities
Fleet Management
Negotiate with transporters and fleet maintenance services to ensure outbound freight costs are kept under control.
Complete the deliveries on time, error free and in full as per sales order with complete documentation to ensure customer satisfaction.
Plan multiple deliveries based on route by implementing the cost saving methods and ensure less turnaround time.
Analyse the financial impact of the proposed logistics changes, such as routing, product volumes or mixes or carriers.
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems and ensure customer complaints and or problems are resolved.
STOCK CONTROL Check the physical stocks of FG and fittings on a weekly/ monthly basis to ensure that the inventories are accurate and it matches with system inventory
