Description
Responsibilities
Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices.
Document support interactions, solutions, and resolutions in a clear and organized manner.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand and prioritize their IT needs.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering timely and efficient solutions.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware components, software applications, and operating systems.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and hardware maintenance.
Monitor hardware and software inventory for clients and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) for clients.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement necessary solutions.
Collaborate with network administrators to optimize network performance.
Implement and enforce security measures to protect client data and systems from threats.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Assist in data backup and recovery procedures for clients.
Prepare detailed reports on IT support activities, including ticket resolution and incident analysis.
Create and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
