Qualifications :• 10 - 15 years’ professional working experience in GIS and Data management Required• Geomatics training and masters knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS) and ESMS (Borealis) management tools Required.• Expert knowledge in Database administration and management Required• Proficiency in the usage of computers and software like Access, Excel, Word, SharePoint... Required• Good knowledge and experience of industry and E&S standards Required• Ability to organize and manage priorities, rigorous. Required• General team spirit: Creative, strength of proposal for performance improvement, good contact, sense of communication.Required• Knowledge of EMS 14001 Implementation, auditing Preferred• Knowledge of IFC or related GIIP ESMS Guidance including Contractor Management PreferredRoles and Responsibilities
GIS data and applications:
Responsible for the proper collection of GIS datasets – from the company Land Resettlement Action Plan contractors, field teams or potential other project source –, performing QA/QC compliance with standards, creating, archiving and maintaining the datasets into a centralised GIS database.
Guarantees the integrity, availability, reliability and consistency of geo referenced data across applications: GIS portal, Environmental and Social Management System management tool, etc.
Shares approved Environmental, Land and Social data with GIS counterparts in Project technical team.
Ensures a direct service and support to Land team, Project technical team, all users and Contractors (providing up to date maps export, global map screening, spatial analysis, coordinates verification etc., GIS applications and mobile appsassistance and coaching).
Participates in and/or leads meetings with representative with Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development surveys and mapping division and potential other stakeholders on GIS data and data related subjects.
Ensures QA/QC on GIS E&S deliverables and integration into BOREALIS ESMS tool.
Contributes to the general Knowledge Management and improvement of the system ESMS Borealis data and application:
Collects, creates, archives and maintains E&S datasets into a centralized Management System tool (ESMS Borealis).
Ensures QA/QC on E&S deliverables and integration into the company's ESMS tool.
Responsible for attribution of system security roles in line with E&S activities. Guarantee the integrity, availability and reliability of data as recurrent action and for all evolutions of the tool: new tools, new versions, change of perimeter, etc.
Performs monitoring and analysis of the data
Ensures good communication, coordination and synchronisation with the company and contractors E&S teams, Borealis solution provider for the benefit of midstream project. Ensures a direct and everyday service and support to land team, project technical team, all ESM Susers and contractor (training and coaching assistance).
Responsible for the conformity of operating rules and usage of the applications and data according to functional standards and regulations: E&S, Local Content and other activities.
Ensures a direct service and support to users and contractors.
Responsible for data quality assurance and quality control, security and availability.
Ensure good communication and datasets exchange with contractors and partners while taking good care on the confidentiality, terms of use and transferal documentation of datasets concerned.
Perform data monitoring and analysis, issue reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis according to the needs.
Responsible for data backups and restoration set-up and tests.
Provides operational support and data for crisis management.
