Qualifications
Diploma in Procurement and logistics management, Certificate or Diploma in Material Management
3 years in Procurement environment most especially in Manufacturing industries.
Certificate in Mechanical engineering or any other technical studies
Roles and responsibilities
Manage a team of warehouse & inventory clerks, ensuring compliance with all warehouse processes and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory transactions.
Analyse daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
Responsible for managing the inventory management database, including the receipt, recording, and delivery of all purchased materials.
Work closely with the Import department and supply chain officer.
Ensure all warehousing and inventory control objectives are met, including inventory turn ratios, on-hand accuracy, lowering inventory valuation, and management of obsolete inventory.
Provide inventory information to the group on a daily basis.
Assure cycle counts are completed timely, and accurately and conduct monthly physical inventories. This will include traveling to other warehouse locations in order to supervise the physical counts as a routine.
Offload raw material in a standardized manner with access to easy count.
All trucks, and containers must be recorded on the warehouse books, and damaged/Empty bags accountable.
Raw material reconciliation must take place every day & stock must match at the end of the day.
