QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Business Management (Accounting/Finance Option), Economics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution
Qualified Accountant (CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent) are a mandatory requirement.
Be registered with a professional body such as ICPAK, ACCA.
Relevant experience in finance and accounting in a large to medium size manufacturing company, four years of which are in a managerial position
Working experience on a progressive ERP especially on FI and CO modules.
Extensive knowledge of international financial standards, company law and taxation laws/legislation.
Advanced level skills in required software packages, advance level of MS Excel hands-on experience and work processing skills.
Proven ability to analyze reports or issues and to provide appropriate recommendations required.
Sound knowledge of local law in the areas of taxation and local regulatory reporting obligations is required.
Working knowledge of internal controls – specifically at manufacturing site level
Roles and Responsibilities
Preparations of timely and accurate monthly/quarterly consolidated management reports.
Scrutinize / analyze monthly financial statements of all group companies in depth and point out discrepancies / areas of concern and ensure that corrections are done by the respective country finance managers.
Prepare financial statements of Mauritius based holding companies.
Do the consolidation of monthly financial statements of all the group companies using Zap BI software.
Prepare and analyse the monthly cash flow for individual companies and for the group as whole.
Review costing of all major products and prepare financial feasibility and payback analysis for new product lines.
Prepare cash flow forecast for the group.
To Prepare and analyze Product margins and provide SKU profitability for decision making purposes.
Review actual vs planned IRR on capex projects of all companies.
Support CFO in tax compliance and tax planning for all companies.
Coordinate both external and internal group audits and ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations, Prepare final account and close on audit process through stipulated time.
Inventory Management to ensure proper controls and overall adherence to routine counts and stock takes to ascertain material variance.
Coordinate and facilitate with Budgeting, Planning & forecasting processes for the organization.
