QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Degree : MSc or Bachelor (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized Engineering discipline Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil &Gas Industry with similar large scale projects & onshore. Professional training in Piping, Vessels and Tanks related design, etc. Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills. English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing). Excellent knowledge of engineering practices, international codes and standards. Expertise in Piping, Vessels and Tanks related Construction methods and techniques. Good understanding of Contractual relationships in EPC / Construction projects.ACTIVITIES To support Pipeline, AGI (Above Ground Installations) and crude oil tanks Package Managers and PO Manager on Piping, Vessels and Tanks to ensure smooth execution of the technical scope of work and interfaces between contracts.
Supervision and approval of Piping, Vessels and Tanks related detailed design activities by EPS Interface with all discipline engineers, Supporting the Engineering Manager in advising on and supporting qualification activities, linked to the use of new or non-standard / common technology for EACOP
Audit and vetting of equipment and service providers for the Piping, Vessels and Tanks related procurement and construction (field engineering support activities)
Coordination of studies related to Piping, Vessels and Tanks related items, etc. Coordinate Piping, Vessels and Tanks expertise with EPS contractor Reporting to the technical project manager on compliance to technical standards, design, supply / manufacturing and construction issues, risks to schedule and budget, etc.
To identify and propose mitigation of project risks To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard H3SE and H3SE rules implementation To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard to Ethics and project “code of conduct” policy To participate to meetings with partners, authorities and other stakeholders as required. To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be required by the position.
