QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIREDAcademic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, petroleum, industrial, mechanical) with 15 years of experience inthe oil and gas industry.Experience Required: Main qualities required for the position: dynamism, autonomous, ability to communicate/convince, rigor, criticaland analytical mind. Good level in English recommended. Pedagogic, coordination and communication skills. Knowledge of the equipment and processes used in the operation of petroleum facilities in Exploration andProduction. Previous project, start-up, and site experience as a superintendent or senior operations supervisorACTIVITIES:In accordance with policies and procedures in place in EACOP, The Pipeline Start-Up Lead is responsible for:(During Construction / Project Phase):Core activities: Becoming familiar with the project documentation (Safety concept, Operating philosophy, Operating Manual,Cause-and-effect diagrams, etc.). Updating the operating manual and start-up procedures Start-up dossier preparation with start-up sequence and schedule, documentation (including RFSUCertificates from Smart Completions) Start-up strategy development: sequence, schedule, organization, mobilization plan Lists, checks and then orders in agreement with the Operations Leads the equipment necessary for start-up. Assists the DSA in setting up the procedures necessary for the proper functioning of the sites (work permit,isolation, access to the LOF and the storage tank area, internal rules).During Commissioning / Start-up Phase): Attending commissioning activities to identify the main site equipment and ensuring their full availability. To supervise the implementation of the initial start-up procedures To supervise the monitoring of all the installation parameters at all stages of the start-up phase to ensure thesafe ramp-up of crude oil export / transportation. To ensure the punch list clearance action plan is issued and validated. To ensure the start-up risk assessment is carried out and results considered in implementation of the start-upprocedures. To prepare requisition for equipment, instruments, special tools for operations personnel To ensure formal hand-over of systems from Project to EACOP Field Operations as Pipeline & AGI Start-UpLead To carry out the performance tests as per contract under safe conditions
