QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Degree: BSc (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized Engineering discipline in Civil engineering
Minimum of 10 years’ experience with at least 5 years in Oil &Gas Industry with similar large-scale projects with extensive field experience.
Ability to adapt and to represent the company in discussions, negotiations and meetings with contractors, partners, and regulatory authorities.
Competency within industry applications such as MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Strong knowledge of civil construction activities for site preparation, cut and fill, compaction, roadworks, drainage, concrete structures, piling, foundations, buildings, and associated disciplines.
Demonstrate proficiency in the interpretation of engineering drawings, plans and specifications.
Understanding of critical path and key milestones within the construction planning programs for civil works.
A high focus on identifying and meeting the key project deliverables and objectives.
Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to articulate construction concerns and solutions with teams consisting of individuals with various technical and educational backgrounds.
To provide supervisory support the CONTRACTOR to report on a daily basis on progress and activities.
Assist contractors for the correct interpretation of the drawings, providing support in the solution of technical problems.
Ability to delegate & set tasks

Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as and when required.
Previous experience working with multicultural contractors' and reporting their performance.
Staff management experience (knowledge of mentoring and motivation techniques)
Autonomous, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities.
Knowledge of International Standards related to Civil, Structural activities
Knowledge about the Testing requirement for the Materials and in-situ construction activities related to Civil.
Knowledge about the lifting requirement for the non-complex lifting activities.
Able to ensure that all the quality and safety requirement are implemented and to coordinate with the LOT quality lead for any Major deviations during the construction phase
