Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commercial, Economics, Business
Administration or related field.
An MBA from a reputable institution is an added advantage.
Training and certifications in supply chain management or
procurement will be an added advantage
Experience of working in a similar role in a reputable local or international organization, preferably FMCG or energy sector. At least 5+ years of relevant experience in a senior management role.
Over 10 years of professional working experience
Strong analytical and planning skills.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A critical thinker with a proven ability to present information clearlyin a report or presentation.
Excellent knowledge and use of IT inc. MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Team management and people development skills.

Responsibilities
Prepare and advise management on the annual and regular procurement plans.
Warehouse management to ensure optimized asset delivery plans across company depots and locations in line with customer and company growth plans.
Ensure all critical goods and services are available and in good quality as necessary in line with the company’s objectives and plans.
Maintain adequate and optimal stock levels ensuring zero stock outs across the depots and any other organization locations/ warehouses.
Ensure proper controls and procedures are put in place to avoid stock leakages and optimize usage.
Ensure Proper controls and processes are exercised in the procurement processes to eliminate fraud and any irregular practices.
Continuous improvement of procurement and warehouse processes and necessary automation of the same.
Cost reduction by optimizing sourcing and warehouse management.
Ensure all sourcing is done in compliance with company SOP.
Management of importation of goods and minimizing associated costs.
