Description

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Supply Chain or similar field of study. Advanced degree in Supply Chain (Transportation/ Warehouse/Procurement. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in related senior management position. People management skills. Proficiency in using MS Office suites (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MSPowerPoint etc.). Exceptional communication skills. Advanced analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple prioritiessimultaneously Responsibilities Transportation Asset Management: - (Last mile logistics assets) Develop & implement a strategic model using delivery units that ensure the most reliable and cost-effective method of delivering MGas products. Develop and implement a maintenance strategy that minimizes cost and maximizes reliability. Minimize fuel cost of final mile delivery. Create dashboards that allow for clear and unambiguousperformance review of Maintenance and fuel cost effectiveness.  Benchmark against industry standards with a view to equal or better performance. Ensure asset utilization at each depot meets or exceeds targets based on depot characteristics and organization’s needs. Safety, Security and Compliance: - Create programs that ensure the organization moves to a targeted Zero Road Traffic Accident (RTA) Create and maintain an environment that focuses of safety. Ensure that RTAs are never accepted as a “part of doingbusiness” All RTAs are preventable. Ensure investigations into RTA’s are robust and that key learnings are shared with the organization in a meaningful way. Ensure the organization’s Transportation Assets are secured through asset tracking equipment and software. People Management: - Minimize labor costs through the reduction of Logistic. Technician labor and corresponding /related labor costs. Maintain a department structure that both minimizes cost and ensures effective management of 5 key areas. Depot compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s Asset Management (supply, selection of equipment and modification design) Maintenance cost/ Out of service reduction Fleet Movement monitoring Fleet Data Analytics   Operations: -Develop programs that minimize cost and maximize On Time delivery performance.Design the FM program to allow for the potential of additional products in the future
