Relevant Knowledge Over 10 years in manufacturing operations with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position.● Proven experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing a vision.● Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.● Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, and finance.● In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.● An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.● Demonstrated knowledge of the plastics technology and industry.● Financial literacy (Finance, audit, or accountancy skills or experience).● Advanced computer skills and proficiency, including experience working in ERP environment and with familiarity in Syspro, Sage and adoption of IOTsResponsibilitiesStrategy & Budget● Provide leadership towards the achievement of the Company’s Vision, Mission, strategy and objectives in line with the Board directives.● Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the Company’s Budget to enhance profitability and shareholder value.Revenue Management● Deliver Revenue Budget by driving Sales, Collections & SR/KG targets ● Review performance against targets and take timely action to ensure achievement of MTD targets.Cost Management● Manage the Company in a cost efficient and effective manner regarding all resources and deliver Gross Profit Budget by managing all elements of COGS in a sustainable & controlled manner ● Continuously eliminate non-value-added activities and costs to become a low cost and high throughput manufacturer.Third Party & Stakeholder Management● Build and manage relationships with Public, Government (regulatory bodies) and Private business/industry leaders and organizations, 3rd party agreements and preferred partners/ stakeholders.Human Capital & Culture ● Build a strong leadership culture across all levels and functions through deliberate practices of talent management, training, coaching, mentoring, delegation, empowerment and career development ● Nurture the organization’s human resource and ensure appropriate management structures and policies are developed and implemented ● Cultivate and encourage a Performance driven culture that promotes ethical practices and sound corporate governance.Market & Growth● Develop strong customer centric culture to deliver profit /market share growth ● Develop lean distribution operations, adopting an aggressive approach to winning & retaining customer business from the competition. ● Build strong (intra-regional) Export business through deep regional trade understanding
