Educational Qualification: A diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Processing, Food Safety, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven 2/3 years, working experience in food safety or a related field.
Experience in Internal and external standards e.g. ISO 17025, ISO 22000:2018, BRCGS
Computer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information Systems.
Duties and responsibility
Inspection and Monitoring: Conducting regular inspections of food processing facilities, and other food establishments to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Sampling and Testing: Collecting food samples and conducting laboratory tests to detect contamination or ensure quality standards are met.
Compliance and Enforcement: Ensuring that food businesses comply with food safety laws and regulations, and taking enforcement actions when necessary.
Training and Education: Providing training and education to food handlers and businesses on proper food safety practices and regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of inspections, test results, and compliance actions
